Dialogues in public sector leadership

In 2023, we began our roundtable series with leaders from across Scotland's public sector. The aim was to analyse some of the most pressing challenges, emerging risks and potential opportunities facing the public sector today.  

We have witnessed first hand the positive impact of collaboration and close communication between public sector leaders. That is why we set up these roundtable events to discuss important issues and make a valuable contribution to a sector we care about deeply. 

Collaboration key to digital transformation

Our first roundtable in March 2023 sought to answer the question how can data and digital transformation support public services in responding to the new economic reality?

The panel discussed the role public sector organisations could play in delivering digital transformation across Scotland and how to best move forward following the setbacks of the Covid pandemic.

Finding the golden thread

Our second roundtable in June 2023 covered how we can align purpose, priorities and processes to digitally deliver on public services. 

In this discussion, our panel of industry leaders analysed how data, collaboration and strategic vision can come together to aid the digital transformation of Scotland's public sector. 

Topics included demonstrating the value of data, developing a strategic approach to overcome challenges, data standards to support innovation and collaboration, and how to strike the balance between standards and freedom.
