Efforts to support accessibility
In line with current European, UK and Isle of Man regulations and guidance around digital accessibility, PDMS takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Accessibility is part of our ongoing commitment to all of our customers, website and system users
- We conduct regular checks on random pages of this website to assess the level of compliance against the standard referenced below.
You should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand by using plain language and avoiding unnecessary jargon. Our goal is to ensure that people of varying reading levels, including those with cognitive disabilities or limited literacy skills, can easily comprehend the content. We aim to maintain a reading level that is accessible to as many users as possible while still providing clear and accurate information.
