Welcoming two new faces to Glasgow office
We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new starters in our Scotland office.
Karen Connelly and Stephen Martin have joined our Glasgow-based team. The new roles in our analyst teams have been created in response to a growing demand for our digital services and solutions from both existing and new clients.
Karen is an experienced Business Analyst, whose new role will see her working on the analysis of the user research and delivery of the Discovery phase report of the Biodiversity Net Gains Project, and also on the BORIS (Bahamas Ship Registry System) Online Services project.
She brings with her a wealth of experience in all stages of the project lifecycle, using multiple different project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. She has a strong track record in providing and delivering business and technical requirements and communicating to all levels of stakeholders.
About her appointment, Karen commented:
"I’ve really enjoyed my first few weeks at PDMS, everyone has been really kind and helpful. I'm looking forward to meeting customers and can’t wait to be involved in the various projects. The variety of projects was one of the key reasons I was keen to join PDMS and so far it hasn't disappointed."
As Test Analyst, Stephen will initially be working on the BORIS (Bahamas Ship Registry System) and Isle of Man Steam Packet Company systems. Prior to joining PDMS, Stephen gained valuable expertise in testing, and was involved in full test lifecycle coverage from strategy and planning to technical support of acceptance test and live release.
Stephen said about his time at PDMS so far:
"I’ve really enjoyed meeting my new colleagues even though it’s online for the time being. I am now looking forward to using my skills on the various projects that are currently ongoing and bringing my experience to the wider PDMS analyst team."
