New website for Isle of Man Wildlife Park

News Published on 01 September 2020

We are proud to have worked with the team at the Isle of Man Curraghs Wildlife Park on their new website.

The new site has been designed and built by PDMS and is powered by Umbraco technologies for the content management system.

A new mobile-friendly experience

The new website provides users with an improved customer experience by ensuring that the site is optimised for browsing on mobile and tablet devices and that key information about the Wildlife Park including opening hours and ticket prices is easy to find.

A series of new features have been included on the new website including a dedicated events and experiences page, so the Curraghs Wildlife Park can advertise what events are coming up to attract more visitors.

Refreshed branding

In addition to building the new website for the Curraghs Wildlife Park, our Design team developed and enhanced the brand including introducing new colours and images which can be seen throughout the website. The changes also meet accessibility requirements that ensures that everyone can use the website, including those using for example a screen reader.

Kathleen Graham, General Manager at the Curraghs Wildlife park said:

"We are delighted with our new website. It is fun, vibrant, informative and most importantly, accessible for all of our website visitors. With our new Umbraco content management system, it is quick and easy for us to update website information, this has been especially important with when we have had to open with phased hours after COVID-19. The Design team at PDMS have helped us to understand how we can get the most out of our website for all website users and are continuing to provide useful help and advice to us."

Jim Rawson, Design Manager at PDMS added:

"We’ve really enjoyed working on this project with the team at the Curraghs Wildlife Park and the site visits were an added perk! We are proud of the new website which showcases the animals and the park as a great local attraction for both residents and visitors."
