Our unique approach to software development, using our FoundationsTM platform and components, delivers many tangible benefits to our public sector clients. We recognised that the majority of business applications have the same basic core requirements, for example security and permissions management. We've invested a substantial amount of R&D in developing a standards based platform that covers these areas of core functionality and additional components to fulfil other business requirements. Because we are not starting each development from scratch, we can invest more time and effort in developing areas of the system that deliver real value for your organisation.
In today's economic environment our approach, which promotes re-use, is also more cost effective. We don't charge a licence fee for FoundationsTM which means that you aren't locked into costly proprietary software licensing arrangements. It's also a viable alternative to Open Source. FoundationsTM (Microsoft.Net based) is standards based and interoperable. It's fully supported and has an ongoing road map for further development.
As an accredited supplier on the the G-Cloud framework, PDMS's cloud based product - the Controlled Document Portal - is also available through the Government's Cloud store.
