We are essentially software engineers working with our clients to help them deliver value for money projects that meet the real objectives of their particular business or organisation. We've delivered hundreds of successful software projects, usually web based business systems, for a wide range of clients both in the private and public sector.
We aim to be a complete technology partner for our clients working with them from the outset of a project on the analysis and design phase right through to development, deployment and ongoing support. To help us achieve this, we have developed other areas of our business to provide additional support services including a dedicated web design team and infrastructure to enable us to host the systems we develop.

Like a lot of other software development businesses we have a highly skilled and experienced team of analysts, developers, designers and project managers. However, we've also invested in developing a framework and set of tools, called FoundationsTM, to help our team implement high performance business systems quickly and efficiently. Our approach helps overcome the limitations of off-the shelf software where one size doesn't really fit all, and the time and risks often associated with bespoke developments where systems are built from scratch. Originally established in 1993, PDMS is a Limited Company and remains in private ownership with the Directors playing a very hands on role in the day to day running of the company. Over the past 20 years we have grown from a company of 2 into a thriving business which now employs 60 staff across our Head Office in the Isle of Man and our office in central London.
Our project portfolio is extensive ranging from a document management system accessed by over 200,000 police officers, courts and lawyers and a service information system used by over 7000 of Centrica's service engineers to a web based timing and race management system for the famous TT races.
We have been working with many of our clients on a long term basis, developing their line of business applications and becoming their trusted technology partner. We are also delighted that our joint success has been recognised in numerous prestigious IT awards including an award for Shared Services for the NHS Car Leasing System in the 2009 Government Computing awards and a national eGovernment Award for the Online Pharmacy project in 2007.
